Katie Coyle focuses on commercial litigation and business
transactions. She has also represented creditors in
post-judgment proceedings. Katie was admitted to the North
Carolina State Bar in 2005 and is also admitted to practice
before the United States District Court for the Eastern
District of North Carolina. She is a member of the American
Bar Association, the North Carolina Bar Association, the
Wake County Bar Association, and the North Carolina
Association of Women Attorneys. Katie was an Articles and
Notes Editor for the First Amendment Law Review while in law
school at UNC. She was also active in the Environmental Law
Project and participated in several pro bono projects,
including the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program. Katie
earned the Pro Bono Student of the Year award in 2004.
Currently, Katie volunteers with Independent Animal Rescue,
a nonprofit organization dedicated to rescuing and providing
care for homeless and abandoned companion animals in the
Triangle area.
