Philip Paine joined the firm in 2003, following his graduation
from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School
of Law. Philip focuses his practice on bankruptcy law,
representing both debtors (individuals and businesses) and
creditors, and is also regularly employed by the Chapter 7
bankruptcy trustee for representation in a variety of
litigation matters within the bankruptcy court. He is
admitted to practice before all three Federal Districts of
North Carolina, and is admitted to practice before the
United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. As a
member of the North Carolina State Bar, Philip also
represents clients in areas such as construction and lien
disputes, debt negotiation and business litigation, and
corporate law.
